INTRODUCTION

Work-life balance is a term we hear about a lot and for managers it is very important because the role of a manager can place more demands on a person’s time and energy than any other role. If care is not taken being a manager can start to affect other aspects of a person’s life in ways that are not necessarily positive. This reflective session is aimed at challenging managers to think about their own work-life balance. Following are the learning objectives and the key topics that will be covered in the session.

By the end of this session participants will:

  • Have taken the time to reflect on work-life balance is needed
  • Have explored a work-life balance and reflected on they can apply it.
